Dear B Blessed
When I signed up for Soul Odyssey, I had no idea by way of synchronicity, from halfway around the world, your words would turn my world right side up 3 times in one day.
This podcast was heart ♥️ opening. I will keep it handy in case I forget who I am again. I’m so grateful for you. Lovely.
So glad this episode was resonant and heart opening for you. With much love!! B
I don’t know how to go inside and how to feel my energy. Unless I have very obvious emotions like anger or overwhelming happiness (which happens extremely rarely), I only find emptiness, nothingness inside.
And that kind of emptiness rarely lasts for longer than a few seconds before my mind kicks in and begings running with one thought after the other.
Hi Schalk, to “go inside and feel” is simply to sit quietly in stillness with your eyes closed and feel the sensations happening inside your body. A simple starting point is to scan your body, slowly from the crown of your head, all the way to the toes, moving slowly from body part to body part and noticing what sensations you notice, if any, and what if any feelings are there. Indeed, sometimes you may be at peace, neutral, equilibrium, and the sensation is spacious nothing inside, that’s not a concern at all. And yes the mind can be going, with thoughts running one after the other, and still below that is the sensations in the body below the mind noise. Do you meditate on a daily basis, even for 10 minutes as a starting point? Not to “stop” the mind or thoughts, just to witness, observe the sensations within, focus on the breathing, and that supports a deeper awareness of and connection to the inner realm below the mind noise. That helps us to more easily pick up on how we’re feeling and where our energy is at, the more we go within. We’re not trying to fix or change anything, or find anything, just to get in the practice of being in that inner space and familiarizing with that part of who we are.
